Innospace Partners with Indian Satellite Firm for "Multiple Launch" Collaboration... Establishing Repeated Launch System
Expanding Partnerships with Initial Launch Customers
Targeting the Small Satellite Market
Innospace, a private space launch vehicle company, is partnering with Indian satellite startup Graha Space to develop a service model based on "multiple launches." The strategy aims to secure both schedule stability and cost efficiency by establishing an operational system premised on repeated launches, rather than one-off missions.
On April 21, Innospace announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Indian satellite company Graha Space for cooperation on multiple launch services. The agreement was signed at the "Korea-India Space Day" event held in Bengaluru, India.

At that time, Graha Space, which was a client for the satellite payload, highly evaluated Innospace's technical capabilities and responsiveness throughout the entire process from launch preparation to operation. As a result, the scope of cooperation has been expanded to include multiple launch services.
"Not a single launch, but repeated launches"... Reducing schedule and cost risks
The core of this agreement is a customer-tailored multiple launch operation system. By providing multiple launch opportunities tailored to each customer's orbit, schedule, and mission characteristics, the aim is to reduce business risks caused by schedule delays or technical variables, and to increase predictability in mission execution.
The two companies plan to jointly build an operational process premised on repeated launches, and to use this as a foundation to strengthen their competitiveness in the global small satellite market. Especially, multiple launches offer both scheduling flexibility and cost savings, making them a differentiated service in a market where satellite demand is rapidly increasing.
Graha Space is an Indian space startup developing nano-satellite clusters for Earth observation, and is pursuing a geospatial data business that can be used in a variety of fields such as border surveillance, environmental monitoring, and industrial analysis.
Ramesh Kumar, CEO of Graha Space, stated, "Although the inaugural mission was not fully successful, our trust in Innospace's technical capabilities and responsiveness remains unwavering. This agreement is a partnership based on trust and a long-term vision, and it will serve as an opportunity to jointly develop the roadmap for the nano-satellite business going forward."
