"Customers Choose Their Return Date"... GS Shop Introduces 'Pick-Up Date Selection' Service
First in the Home Shopping Industry
Strengthening "On-Demand" Delivery Services
Pick-up Date Can Be Selected Within 7 Days of Return Request
Expanded Range of Products Eligible for "Arrival Date Selection"
GS Shop announced on the 21st that it has become the first in the home shopping industry to introduce a "pick-up date selection" service, allowing customers to directly specify the date for product returns.
This move further strengthens the company's on-demand delivery service tailored to consumer lifestyles. The core of this on-demand delivery is the "pick-up date selection" service, introduced for the first time in the home shopping sector. For all TV home shopping products, customers can now specify their preferred pick-up date within seven days when requesting a return.

However, around 3% of returns cannot be processed on time due to customers' personal circumstances, such as being away from home. GS Shop expects that the new pick-up date selection service will not only reduce customer inconvenience but also alleviate logistical inefficiencies caused by repeat collection visits.
Since April 13, GS Shop has also expanded the range of products eligible for "arrival date selection." Previously, this option was available only for items stocked in GS Shop's logistics centers. Now, it also applies to products delivered after being collected directly from partner companies, as well as those delivered by partners themselves. In a customer survey on delivery services conducted by GS Shop in January this year, 92% of respondents indicated that they wanted to choose their delivery date, prompting the company to reflect this demand in its services.
With these improvements, the proportion of products eligible for arrival date selection has increased from 55% to around 90%, and the category has been expanded to include high-demand items such as fresh food.
