Paints Her Entire Body Black After Miniskirt Criticism
A female game caster in China, who previously faced controversy for wearing a miniskirt, has once again sparked discussion by appearing on a broadcast with her entire body painted black.
According to international media outlets such as the South China Morning Post (SCMP) on April 19, a Chinese e-sports caster known by the stage name "Zhazha" drew attention during a recent live stream of "Naraka: Bladepoint," a game developed by a Chinese company. She appeared wearing a black dress with her entire body, including her face, painted black, capturing the attention of viewers.

In every match, she broadcasted in a short skirt. Zhazha frequently fiddled with her legs and appeared anxious about her outfit slipping, while her male co-host wore a suit and looked relaxed. This led to heated debate among online users.
Some commenters criticized Zhazha, claiming she "deliberately wore a miniskirt to appeal to the male gaze," while others blamed the event organizers for allegedly requiring women to wear revealing outfits. There were even rumors that her legs appeared blue and twisted because she was sitting tensely for a prolonged period to prevent exposure.
Eventually, Zhazha addressed the controversy herself. She explained that the organizers had never forced her to wear a short skirt and that sitting with her legs together during the broadcast was simply to look better on camera. She added that when the camera was pointed elsewhere, she would relax her legs while commentating. She also clarified that the change in her leg color was due to the cold indoor temperature from the air conditioning.
However, as the controversy persisted despite her explanation, Zhazha took the dramatic step of appearing with her whole body painted black. Her male co-host, seated next to her, struggled to contain his laughter throughout the broadcast.
