Musinsa Opens Third Store in Southwestern Shanghai, Expanding Offline Presence

From Huaihai Road and East Nanjing Road to Hengshan Road
Reflecting Local Consumer Trends:
Targeting Generation Z with Riding Events and Limited Edition Products
Musinsa announced on April 21 that it will open the 'Musinsa Standard Shanghai Xinyubai YOUNG Store' on Hengshan Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China, on April 24. With this new location, Musinsa plans to expand its offline footprint into the southwestern business district of Shanghai and strengthen its local customer engagement.
With this new opening, Musinsa Standard has established a store network connecting key commercial districts in Shanghai, now spanning Hengshan Road in addition to its existing locations on Huaihai Road and East Nanjing Road. Based on this network, the company aims to gradually enhance its brand awareness and offline influence.
The Hengshan Road area, where the new store will be located, is a district that combines a historic atmosphere with a lifestyle business zone, consistently attracting a young consumer base. 'Xinyubai YOUNG,' where the store is situated, is a multi-generational shopping complex with high accessibility due to its proximity to Xujiahui Station, which serves subway lines 1, 9, and 11.
The store consists of three floors and covers approximately 1,320 square meters. The exterior features a minimalist design to highlight the brand image, while a large media wall installed inside enhances the immersive experience. Each floor is organized by product category, allowing customers to browse both essential items and trend-driven products in one visit.
Marketing activities tailored to local consumer characteristics will also be conducted. Given the recent increase in outdoor activities such as running and cycling in Shanghai, a riding event connecting all three stores will be held on opening day. Participants will wear the new windbreaker product and travel through the city, conveying the brand concept.
On April 29, the company will launch a limited package called 'Super Bag,' which bundles popular items. This offering, with its reasonable pricing and composition, targets young consumers who value cost-effectiveness.

A Musinsa representative stated, "The opening of this third store is significant as Musinsa Standard has expanded its offline presence across all major commercial districts in Shanghai. In particular, a skywalk connecting to nearby shopping malls is planned for 'Xinyubai YOUNG,' which will be linked to the third floor of Musinsa Standard. We expect this to bring in even more customers."
