Gyeonggi Province Strengthens Protection of Childcare Staff Rights with Educational and Promotional Videos
Gyeonggi Province has produced five educational and promotional videos to protect the rights of childcare teachers at daycare centers and to create a stable working environment.
The newly produced videos consist of: ▲ a promotional video to improve awareness of childcare staff; ▲ a video on personnel and labor management education for childcare staff; ▲ a video educating on types of interference with childcare activities; ▲ a video on response and prevention strategies in the event of interference with childcare activities; and ▲ a video on guidance for daily life of infants and toddlers.
These videos were created to help improve understanding of personnel and labor issues and violations of childcare activities that may occur at daycare centers, and to support stable childcare activities based on the professionalism of childcare staff.
In particular, the videos focus on providing practical support by presenting response and prevention measures that can be applied in the field, especially in situations where childcare staff face unjust complaints, verbal abuse, or physical violence that interfere with their work.

They will also be available to watch online through the Gyeonggi Parenting Support Center YouTube channel and Gyeonggi Province’s Lifelong Learning Portal GSEEK (www.gseek.kr).
Gyeonggi Province also plans to conduct a rights protection training session for childcare staff in the first half of the year, focusing on the theme of "responses and prevention in the event of interference with childcare activities."
