Lexus Korea announced on the 15th that it has selected one winner and four finalists as the final awardees of the 'Lexus Creative Masters Award 2026' at the Jeju Camp Tree Hotel & Resort.

View original imageThis event is a talent nurturing social contribution program organized by Lexus Korea to support artists in the field of crafts and to promote the culture of craftsmanship in Korea. Since 2017, Lexus Korea has collaborated with a total of 41 craft artists, holding special exhibitions and producing Lexus Creative Masters Edition, among other various projects.
This year, the ultimate winner was Jiwoo Lee for 'White Porcelain Lighting,' a ceramic lighting piece completed by utilizing the robust materiality and translucency of white porcelain. The finalists included: ▲ 'FORM IN LINES' by Kim Yeji (a scrubber basket object that expresses volume through the repetition of lines), ▲ 'Fruits of Circulation' by Park Jieun (a sculptural work expressing the shape of time and energy through the repetition of subtle movements), ▲ 'Limpet GR01' by Seo Jinhyuk (a glass art object inspired by the structure of shellfish, embodying the meanings of accumulation and sustainability), and ▲ 'Clear Chair' by Lee Changhee (an epoxy chair exploring its use through the interaction of assembled modules).
The final winner will receive a prize of 20 million won, while the four finalists will each be awarded 5 million won.
