There is speculation that Siwoo Kim may switch to LIV Golf, which is backed by Saudi Arabian capital.
On December 10 (local time), the American golf media outlet Golfweek reported, "Siwoo Kim is in the final stages of negotiations with LIV Golf." In addition to Golfweek, Sports Illustrated (SI) and Reuters also simultaneously reported on the possibility of Kim transferring to LIV Golf.

Born in 1995, Siwoo Kim has won four titles on the PGA Tour and is currently ranked 47th in the world. In 2017, he captured The Players Championship, often referred to as "the fifth major," and won a team gold medal at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games. His best result in a major tournament was a tie for 8th at this year's PGA Championship.

Siwoo Kim achieved his fourth PGA Tour victory at the Sony Open in January 2023. This season, he competed in 30 tournaments and finished in the top 10 three times. His best result on the PGA Tour this year was a tie for fourth place at the RSM Classic last month. Earlier this month, he also performed well by finishing third at the DP World Tour Australian Open.
