The Korea Golf Course Management Association will strengthen safety inspections at golf courses nationwide. On November 13, the association announced, "Following a recent accident involving a work cart falling at a domestic golf course, we have decided to enhance safety inspections at golf courses across the country by touring eight regional councils throughout October." The association added, "We have set the following as key tasks: safety management of cart roads, replacement of outdated equipment, and strengthening the training of outsourced personnel." The inspection items include checking the installation of guardrails and safety fences on steep slopes and embankments, the condition of road surface drainage and anti-slip measures, inspection of braking devices such as cart brakes and belts, checking for cracks in bridges and retaining walls on the course, and the installation status of warning and guidance signs.
