[Weather] Early Summer Heat in the Daytime...Gradually Becoming Cloudy from the Afternoon
On Thursday, April 16, temperatures are expected to rise significantly, reaching levels that feel like early summer heat. In inland areas across the country, the temperature difference between day and night could reach up to around 20 degrees Celsius, so extra attention should be paid to health management.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, morning lows will range from 5 to 12 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will range from 15 to 28 degrees Celsius. This is expected to be higher than the seasonal averages (lows of 3 to 11 degrees Celsius and highs of 16 to 22 degrees Celsius), and mild weather will continue for the time being.

Most regions nationwide will be mostly clear, but Jeju Island will become increasingly cloudy from the morning, and other regions will gradually become cloudy from the afternoon. On Jeju Island, strong winds with gusts exceeding 70 km/h are expected from the morning, and a strong wind advisory may be issued, so extra caution is needed for facility management and safety. In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, low clouds will move in under the influence of easterly winds until 9 a.m., and dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters may occur in some places.
A dry weather advisory remains in effect for the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, and the northwestern inland area of North Gyeongsang Province.
