Actor Yoo Haejin Donates 100 Million Won to Seoul Asan Medical Center
"I Hope Cancer Patients Overcome Their Difficult Treatment Journeys"
Seoul Asan Medical Center announced on May 13 that actor Yoo Haejin, who delivered both laughter and comfort to audiences with his passionate performance in the film "The King and the Clown," has donated 100 million won to support the treatment of cancer patients.
Yoo Haejin stated, "I decided to make this donation because I hope that patients fighting cancer can overcome their difficult treatment journeys and regain their everyday lives. I sincerely hope that many cancer patients will be able to receive treatment in a more comfortable and safer environment."
In 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Yoo Haejin donated 50 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support medical staff and contribute to the treatment of pediatric patients. He followed this with an additional 50 million won donation in 2023. With this latest contribution, his total donations to Seoul Asan Medical Center have reached 200 million won.
