Comprehensive Showcase of Small Modular Reactors... Busan International Nuclear Industry Exhibition Kicks Off on the 22nd
130 Companies from 19 Countries to Participate at BEXCO
A nuclear business platform ushering in the era of AI will be held at BEXCO in Busan.
The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Korea Atomic Industrial Forum announced on April 21 that the "2026 Busan International Nuclear Industry Exhibition" will take place at BEXCO from April 22 to 24.
This exhibition serves as a venue to share the latest technologies and market trends across the entire nuclear industry, including nuclear power plant construction, equipment and materials, safety, and decommissioning. A total of 130 domestic and international companies will participate, operating 420 booths.
Participating companies from Korea include Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, KEPCO KPS, KEPCO Engineering & Construction, and Doosan Enerbility. Major international corporations such as Westinghouse, Orano, and Framatome will also take part. Next-generation nuclear power technologies, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), will be featured prominently.
During the exhibition period, the "2026 Korea Nuclear Annual Conference" and the "25th Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference" will be held concurrently. Experts from around the world will gather to discuss the future direction of the nuclear industry, creating an international forum for exchange.
In addition, a variety of side events will be held, including the Co-Prosperity Project Briefing, Equipment Procurement Consultation, Export Consultation with Overseas Buyers, and the Czech Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant Project Briefing. The focus is on supporting market expansion for small and medium-sized enterprises and facilitating their entry into overseas markets.

Park Hyungjoon, Mayor of Busan, stated, "This will be an opportunity to share the latest technologies and trends in the nuclear industry and provide chances to expand both domestic and international markets," adding, "We will continue to devote our efforts to fostering the nuclear industry and expanding its foundation."
