International Electric Accelerates Push into Global Data Center and Renewable Energy Markets
International Electric Co., Ltd. (CEO Sunho Kim) is accelerating its push into the global market, leveraging its track record of supplying U.S. data centers. International Electric announced on the 21st that it will participate in the upcoming 'Data Center World Exhibition' and the 'IEEE PES T&D Exhibition' scheduled for early May, with plans to focus on promoting its solutions in the fields of data centers, renewable energy, and power distribution networks.
Data Center World is the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to the data center industry, bringing together operators, technology companies, and providers of power, cooling, and infrastructure solutions from around the globe. It is recognized as a global platform for exploring the latest trends and technologies in the digital infrastructure industry.
In addition, IEEE PES T&D is a leading international exhibition in the power transmission and distribution sector, where power infrastructure, distribution networks, smart grid, and renewable energy technologies are intensively showcased. As a world-class event with significant participation from power industry stakeholders, utility companies, research institutions, and equipment manufacturers, it is regarded as a key venue for next-generation power equipment companies to expand their global networks and uncover new business opportunities.
At these exhibitions, International Electric plans to showcase its products, focusing on distribution transformers and pad-mounted transformers, further strengthening its position in the rapidly growing global data center and renewable energy sectors.
Meanwhile, International Electric achieved its highest performance since its founding last year. Annual sales reached KRW 142.5 billion, up approximately 60% from the previous year, and operating profit also increased by about 57%. The export ratio remained at a similar level to the previous year, accounting for about 70% of total sales. The company is also on the verge of signing a long-term supply contract for large-volume orders with a global power equipment company—a process it has been pursuing since last year. If this contract is finalized, it is expected to mark a significant turning point for securing a stable customer base and driving sales growth in the global market.
