National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage Recreates Gyeongju Hwangnyongsa Temple Site in Virtual Reality
Virtual Tour Content Released and Survey Underway
The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage announced on April 21 that it will conduct a survey of participants experiencing the "Gyeongju Hwangnyongsa Temple Site" virtual tour content until May 11, and will hold an event to present souvenirs to those who participate.
To share the process and achievements of its ancient architecture research, which has been ongoing since the 1970s, the institute launched the "Architectural Heritage Value Link" website last year. It operates an "Experience Hall," where visitors can explore architectural heritage recreated in virtual reality (VR), and a "Data Hall," which provides materials related to ancient architectural cultural heritage.
