The resolution has been upgraded to 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), offering even better picture quality than its predecessor, the LG StanbyMe 2, which supported QHD. In addition, the product delivers rich sound with an 11.1.2 channel surround system, allowing users to enjoy immersive audio without the need for separate speakers.
This new model is equipped with the third-generation Alpha 8 artificial intelligence (AI) processor, which is an enhancement over the previous version. The AI analyzes and optimizes both video and audio to deliver the best possible screen and surround sound for any content. The Alpha 8 AI Super Upscaling 4K feature allows even low-resolution videos to be viewed in high-quality 4K.
The device also supports Dolby Vision for video and Dolby Atmos for surround sound, providing an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, it offers a variety of entertainment options, including 'LG Channels,' a global free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service, and, for the first time in the StanbyMe lineup, the art content service 'LG Gallery Plus.'
Mobility and user convenience have also been improved. The built-in battery capacity has been increased to 144 watt-hours (Wh), enabling up to 4 hours and 30 minutes of continuous use without plugging in. Notably, the screen can be detached from the stand with the push of a button, allowing it to be used freely like a large tablet. With the dedicated one-click stand accessory, users can easily switch between horizontal and vertical screen orientations. The strap accessory makes it easy to carry or hang on the wall, where it can function as a picture frame or clock.

Connecting the dedicated smart cam to the new product enables the 'LG Buddy' function, which supports KakaoTalk video calls, content sharing, remote control, and more.
Since its launch in 2021, LG StanbyMe has established itself as a bestseller and a symbol of portable screens. Last year, it set a record in South Korea by selling one unit every three minutes.
