Governor Park Wansu Listens to Voices from the Field ... Covering Public Childcare, Industry, and the Religious Community
Gyeongnam Province Governor Park Wansu visited sites related to public childcare, the electric power industry, and the religious community in succession to listen to voices from the field.
On April 18, at the "2026 Public Childcare Center Association Staff Capacity Building Training" held at the main auditorium of the provincial government building, Governor Park encouraged the staff and expressed the province's commitment to supporting better working conditions in the childcare sector.

About 600 participants, including directors and teachers from public childcare centers in the province, attended the event, which featured an opening ceremony, a social contribution agreement, the delivery of sponsorship donations, and special lectures.
Various programs were also prepared to enhance professionalism in childcare and improve the quality of public childcare services.
At the event, Governor Park stated, "Gyeongnam will pursue childcare policies ahead of the central government," adding, "We will strengthen public childcare so that the efforts made in the field benefit the children."

View original imageGovernor Park then visited the Masan Indoor Gymnasium in Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon, where the "3rd Gyeongsangnam-do Electricians Unity Festival" was being held.
Hosted by the Gyeongsangnam-do branch of the Korea Electrical Engineers Association, the event brought together about 500 electrical engineers for an opening ceremony, sports activities, and unity programs.
Governor Park attended the opening ceremony, greeted event officials, thanked the electrical engineers for their hard work ensuring the safety of power facilities and advancing the energy industry, and continued to communicate with those on the ground.

View original imageIn the afternoon, Governor Park attended the "60th Anniversary Mass and Diocesan Office Dedication Ceremony" for the Diocese of Masan, held near the Masan Diocesan Office in Jinjeon-myeon, Masanhappo-gu.
This event commemorated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Masan Diocese, with about 3,000 parishioners in attendance. The program included a celebratory mass, dedication ceremony, and congratulatory events, reaffirming the significance of the diocese and wishing for unity within the local community.
Governor Park said, "The Catholic Diocese of Masan has played an important role in the community, caring for society's vulnerable groups," and added, "I hope you will continue to serve as a center of hope and solidarity for residents experiencing conflict and hardship."
