Introducing Key Issues Through Case Law Analysis
Discussion Based on Practical Experience of Former Prosecutors and Police Officers
A forum will be held to share practical strategies for effectively responding to illegal evidence collection by investigative agencies during search and seizure operations targeting companies and individuals.
DaeRyuk & AeJu Law Firm (Managing Partner Lee Gyuchul) announced on April 16 that it will host a webinar titled "Recent Trends in Unlawful Evidence Collection During Corporate Search and Seizure" at 2:00 p.m. on April 21.
This webinar, organized by the Criminal & Compliance (C&C) Group at DaeRyuk & AeJu, is designed to help corporate stakeholders exercise their legal rights and respond appropriately on-site during unannounced search and seizure operations by investigative authorities.
During the webinar, attorneys with backgrounds in the prosecution and the police will analyze the latest case law on search and seizure based on their practical experience. They will also engage in in-depth discussions on key issues that may arise at the scene and recent practical trends, including the exclusion of unlawfully collected evidence.
The discussion panel will include Dongju Kim, Director of the Search and Seizure Response Center and a former prosecutor; Yuri Jeong, a former senior prosecutor with extensive experience in corporate economic crime investigations; and Miha Lim, an attorney who served in various investigative departments for 20 years as a police officer.
