Daegu Dalseong-gun Job Fair: 30 Companies to Recruit Over 350 On-Site
Daegu Dalseong-gun will hold the "2026 1st Dalseong-gun Job Fair" at the Dalseong-gun Citizens' Gymnasium on April 22, starting at 2 p.m., to revitalize the local economy and address employment challenges.
This job fair has been organized to provide tailored recruitment opportunities for outstanding local companies facing workforce shortages, while offering job seekers access to stable employment.
The lineup of participating companies is impressive. Thirty leading local companies, including Isu Petasys, Daedong, and Pyeonghwa Industry, will set up their own booths. Recruitment fields range widely from office and management positions to quality control, public service, and production roles. Through on-site interviews, the companies plan to hire over 350 people immediately.
In addition to standard interviews, a "full package" of support services will be offered to job seekers at the venue. A variety of practical programs will be available, including job information, career counseling, expert interview consulting, free ID photo sessions, and psychological tests. Participants will also receive complimentary coffee and souvenirs as added benefits.
This job fair is being held as part of Dalseong-gun's "regional rotation" strategy, which prioritizes convenience for job seekers. Last year, Dalseong-gun received strong positive feedback by rotating the event among Hyeonpung, Hwawon, and Dasa. This year, the first base has again been selected as Hyeonpung-eup, maximizing accessibility so that any resident can find a job close to home.
An official from Daegu Dalseong-gun stated, "We have improved accessibility so that any resident can participate nearby," adding, "We hope a diverse group of job seekers will participate and seize employment opportunities."
