Daewoo E&C Begins Subscription Schedule for 'Upseong Prugio Lake City' Starting Today
Full Subscription Schedule Kicks Off with Special Supply on April 13 and First-Priority Applications on April 14
Strong End-User Response to Premium Features Including Indoor Pool, Sky Lounge, and Individual Storage Units
The "Upseong Prugio Lake City" project, introduced by Daewoo E&C in the Upseong-dong area of Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, has been drawing a steady stream of visitors for three days since its opening, raising expectations for the subscription schedule that begins today.
During the three days following the opening of the Upseong Prugio Lake City model home on April 10, more than 11,000 visitors showed significant interest in the development.
The detailed subscription schedule for Upseong Prugio Lake City begins with special supply on Monday, April 13, followed by first-priority applications on Tuesday, April 14, and second-priority applications on Wednesday, April 15. The lottery results will be announced on Wednesday, April 22, and the official contract signing will take place over four days from Monday, May 4 to Thursday, May 7.
A sales representative stated, "Prospective buyers responded positively to the fact that Seongseong Lake Park, located to the south of the complex, can be enjoyed almost like a private garden, and that a variety of community facilities such as an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium will be provided within the complex. Features such as individual storage units, alpha rooms, ample storage space, and its location in a prime school district suitable for raising children meet most of what buyers are looking for. We expect this strong interest to continue as the subscription schedule begins today."
In fact, Upseong Prugio Lake City is adjacent to the 528,000-square-meter Seongseong Lake Park to the south, offering a pleasant residential environment. Some units are expected to provide permanent lake views. The educational environment is also favorable, with sites for kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools all planned nearby, creating a "one-stop school district" where children can commute safely.
The product itself is also highly attractive. The development features premium amenities such as a rare 25-meter, four-lane indoor swimming pool with a kids' pool, a sky lounge and guesthouse (a total of five guest rooms, including two on the top floor) offering views of Seongseong Lake from the 39th floor.
Within the units, a four-bay flat-type design maximizes natural lighting and ventilation, and some units offer expanded balconies on three sides to increase usable space. Every unit is provided with an individual storage room for efficient storage of seasonal or bulky items, thus expanding storage areas. Specialized layouts such as dressing rooms, alpha rooms, and laundry rooms (in some units) are also being introduced.
Meanwhile, Upseong Prugio Lake City is being developed as a large-scale complex at 478 Upseong-dong, Cheonan, consisting of 11 buildings ranging from two basement levels to up to 39 floors above ground, for a total of 1,908 units. In this round of sales, 1,460 units in Block 1 will be offered first, with exclusive areas ranging from 72 to 95 square meters.
The sales terms include a fixed first contract payment of 10 million won to reduce the initial financial burden. As the project is in a non-regulated area, resale is permitted before the interim payment, and there are no restrictions on multiple wins or mandatory occupancy periods.
