Billionaire Owner of Adult Platform OnlyFans Dies After Battle With Cancer
Acquired OnlyFans’ Parent Company in 2018
Net Worth Estimated at 7 Trillion Won at Time of Death
Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire entrepreneur known as the owner of the adult content platform OnlyFans, has died after a battle with cancer. He was 43 years old.
On March 23 (local time), OnlyFans announced, "We are deeply saddened to share the news of Leo Radvinsky's passing. After a long fight with cancer, he passed away peacefully." Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-born American businessman, was the owner of OnlyFans but rarely appeared in the media.
OnlyFans is a subscription-based social networking service (SNS) platform founded by British entrepreneur Tom Stokely. Users can upload their own videos or photos and generate income by attracting paid subscribers. In 2018, Radvinsky acquired Phoenix International, the UK-based parent company of OnlyFans.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of OnlyFans users surged. As of 2024, OnlyFans had approximately 4.6 million creators uploading content and 377 million users. Prominent American celebrities such as Cardi B and Bella Thorne also began creating accounts on the platform.
Thanks to this growth, Radvinsky was included in Forbes' billionaire list starting in 2021. At the time of his death, his net worth was estimated at $4.7 billion (about 7 trillion won), ranking him 869th among the world's wealthiest individuals.
True to his reputation as a businessman who kept his private life out of the spotlight, little information about him was publicly known. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Radvinsky married attorney Katie Chudnovsky in 2008 and had four children.
