Man in His 30s Dies After Assaulting Father and Falling from Yongin Apartment
Father Hospitalized with Serious Injuries After Assault
A man in his 30s died after assaulting his father and falling from an apartment building in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Yongin Dongbu Police Station on May 18, a witness reported around 10 a.m. that "someone has fallen" at an apartment complex in Cheoin-gu, Yongin.
The man who fell, referred to as A, was pronounced dead at the scene. Inside the apartment unit where he lived, his father, B, who is in his 70s, was found with serious injuries.
B is reported to have sustained major injuries as a result of the assault. He has been transported to a hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
The police plan to investigate the details of the incident, including whether an assault took place.
