Gangbuk District Seeks Applications for Ten "Gangbuk-style Wellness Tourism Sites" Until April 8

Gangbuk District in Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soonhee) is holding an open call for "Gangbuk-style Wellness Tourism Sites" to discover and foster local tourism resources. Applications will be accepted from March 23 to April 8, 2026.

View original imageThe contest covers six themes: healing and meditation, beauty and spa, natural therapy, Korean medicine, food, and stay. Any business located in Gangbuk District that can operate wellness-related tourism content or programs is eligible to apply.
After a review process, the ten final selected businesses will receive support such as customized consulting, development of tourism content and programs, pilot operation of signature programs, and promotional and marketing training.
The district plans to build a unique wellness tourism ecosystem in Gangbuk by leveraging the natural environment and cultural assets centered around Bukhansan Mountain. Details and application forms can be found in the Notices and Announcements section of the Gangbuk District Office website.
