Lotte Hotel Makes First Entry into Gwangju...Opens 'L7 Chungjang by Lotte Hotel'
Rebranding of the Former Ramada Plaza
Lotte Hotel & Resort has made its first entry into the Gwangju region by opening a new hotel on Chungjang-ro in Dong-gu, Gwangju. The company rebranded the existing Ramada Plaza Chungjang Hotel and launched it as L7 Chungjang by Lotte Hotel, pushing ahead with the expansion of its nationwide hotel network.
According to Lotte Hotel & Resort and others on the 19th, the Ramada Plaza Chungjang Hotel located in Dong-gu, Gwangju, has been renamed and opened as L7 Chungjang by Lotte Hotel. This opening marks the first hotel that Lotte Hotel & Resort has introduced in the Gwangju area.
The hotel’s exterior and spatial design reflect the urban sensibility of Gwangju. A large mural expressing the history of democratization has been applied to the exterior, while the interior spaces capture the atmosphere of Chungjang-ro, where fashion, food, and culture come together.
The hotel consists of 95 rooms across 2 basement levels and 13 above-ground floors. It is equipped with auxiliary facilities such as a banquet hall and fitness center, with a breakfast and cafe space called Floating on the first floor and a Chinese restaurant named Ban Lecien on the third floor.
