Man In His 40s Steals Live Fish Truck To Rob Gold-And-Silver Shop... Why?
Rammed Store Entrance, Stole Precious Metals, and Fled
A man in his 40s who stole a live fish transport truck, rammed it into a gold-and-silver shop, and fled with precious metals has been caught by the police.
According to the Suyeong Police Station in Busan, Mr. A stole a 1.2-ton live fish truck that had been parked on a roadside in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, at around 4:14 a.m. on February 14, and then drove it to a nearby gold-and-silver shop.
At around 4:33 a.m. the same day, Mr. A allegedly rammed the stolen vehicle into the entrance of the shop, damaging it, then broke into the store and stole precious metals worth about 7 million won before fleeing.
After receiving the report, the police tracked his route of travel and arrested Mr. A at 10:53 p.m. the same day in front of his home in Suyeong-gu on charges of aggravated theft. All of the stolen items were recovered.
