Streamlined Main Screen and Introduction of AI Search
On October 27, LG Uplus announced the launch of "Uplusone (U+one)," an integrated app that combines services previously separated into the customer center app and the membership app.
With the Uplusone app, LG Uplus customers can access all services-including signing up for telecommunications products, checking billing statements, and enjoying membership benefits-through a single application. The app’s planning and development process prioritized addressing customer inconveniences, and its user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) were designed around the menus customers use most frequently.

View original imageAccording to LG Uplus, the launch of this integrated app is part of the company’s new brand philosophy, "Simply. U+," and Uplusone was developed to enable customers to access all services through a single app.
In practice, the previous eight menu categories (My Page, Mobile, Internet/IPTV, Benefits, Customer Support, Nugget, International Roaming, and Yudok) have been streamlined into three tabs at the bottom: MY, Store, and Benefits. Additionally, a Plus tab has been added to provide customers with useful information, along with an AI Search tab that enhances navigation convenience.
Membership benefits have also been redesigned for easier use. In addition to popular existing benefits such as Attendance Check, Uplus2plus, and Membership Barcode, features like VIP Kok and movie ticket reservations can now be accessed directly from the main screen. The app also recommends coupons tailored to user interests and suggests LG Uplus products and services customized for each customer.
An AI search function has also been added. By utilizing a large language model (LLM), users can ask questions conversationally with the AI and receive detailed answers, along with links to pages containing additional information. The new Plus section on the main screen includes content such as customer benefits, AI trends, and stories shared by the company and its customers.
Uplusone actively incorporated customer feedback during its beta testing phase, resulting in a 5.1 percentage point increase in customer satisfaction compared to the previous customer center app, "Your U+."
LG Uplus customers can download and use the Uplusone app from app marketplaces. Customers who previously used "Your U+" can access Uplusone through an update, without needing to reinstall or log in again.
Going forward, LG Uplus plans to continue improving company-wide services in line with the Simply Uplus philosophy, starting with the launch of Uplusone.
