The story follows Korean and Japanese detectives as they pursue a cross-border serial murder case. The discovery of a corpse with twisted limbs in Tokyo, accompanied by a mysterious message written in Korean, sparks an international incident. When a similar case soon occurs in Korea, police from both countries launch a joint investigation.
The series will be directed by Han Junhee, known for "D.P." and "Coin Locker Girl." Han will also adapt the series, based on the comic "Blue Road," together with writer Jo Yujin of "Pilot." Han stated, "This will be a transnational crime drama that intensely follows the process of two detectives tracking down the perpetrator."
