Toss Place, the payment terminal subsidiary of Toss, announced on September 8 that it has appointed Kim Jungyeol as its new Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

He oversaw major projects such as the introduction of the Seoul Climate Companion Card and Apple Pay transportation card. He is a veteran with over 20 years of experience in the electronic finance sector.
Toss Place stated that Vice President Kim will be responsible for overseeing key business areas, including scaling up business operations and strengthening the partner ecosystem.
Vice President Kim said, "Toss Place will evolve beyond simply supplying terminals to become a business-to-business (B2B) platform," adding, "We will create new business opportunities based on the trust we have already built."
