Human in Motion Robotics Demonstrates 'XoMotion-R' at Official Event for British Columbia Premier's Visit to Korea
Human in Motion Robotics, a robotics subsidiary of KOSDAQ-listed Benoty&R (CEO Jung Jiphun), announced on the 12th that it was invited to demonstrate its wearable robot XoMotion-R at the official events during the visit of David Eby, Premier of British Columbia (BC), Canada, to Korea on June 9 and 10.
An economic delegation led by David Eby, Premier of British Columbia, made an official visit to Korea, holding events and meetings to promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as trade, investment, and research. The event on June 9 was attended by many stakeholders, including Kim Dongyeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, which is a sister province to British Columbia, as well as representatives from major Korean conglomerates and small and medium-sized enterprises.
At the event, Human in Motion Robotics demonstrated its wearable robot XoMotion-R and held various discussions about the robotics business with Premier David Eby and other stakeholders.
In addition, during the economic delegation’s visit, Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Asia-Pacific Trade, and William Hoyle, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation (JEDI), visited the Human in Motion Robotics Asia office in Seoul on June 10. They learned about Benoty&R’s investment in Human in Motion Robotics and its entry into the robotics business, as well as the current status of the company. They also discussed ways for the two countries to cooperate in cutting-edge technology and industrial sectors.
A representative from Human in Motion Robotics stated, "This event was a meaningful occasion where a wide range of discussions were held to foster the growth of the AI-robotics business," adding, "Human in Motion Robotics will continue to strive to enhance mobility and convenience for users worldwide through ongoing innovation in AI and humanoid-based intelligent wearable robotics technology."

XoMotion is a robot that assists users with mobility and rehabilitation for lower limb paralysis patients. It features self-balancing technology, enabling hands-free walking for users.
