Rubio Unanimously Confirmed as US Secretary of State... First Approval in Trump’s Second Term
The United States Senate unanimously approved the nomination of Marco Rubio as Secretary of State on the 20th (local time). This is the first case of a cabinet nominee in President Donald Trump's second-term administration to pass Senate confirmation.
