BPA Holds Q4 Safety Council Meeting for Tenants in Busan Port New Port Hinterland Complex
Promotion of Safety and Health Win-Win Cooperation Projects for Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises, Risk Assessment Training

View original imageAt the council meeting, BPA provided information about the Win-Win Safety and Health Cooperation Project between large and small-medium enterprises, led by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, which they plan to promote next year with the hinterland complex resident companies, and encouraged active participation.
A professional instructor from the Korea Industrial Safety Association was invited to conduct training related to risk assessment, and time was also allocated to share major improvements identified and implemented through safety inspections, as well as excellent safety management cases from other resident companies.
BPA conducts monthly safety inspections of hinterland complex resident companies jointly with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ port safety inspectors to proactively eliminate and improve risk factors, and strives to prevent industrial accidents through safety management technical support and other measures.

Hong Seong-jun, Head of BPA’s Operations Headquarters, stated, “Through this Safety Council, we aim to reestablish the safety awareness of the hinterland complex resident companies, and to supplement any shortcomings from this year through inspections and training, so that next year we can further improve the safety management level of the resident companies.”
