A professional instructor from the Korea Industrial Safety Association was invited to conduct training related to risk assessment, and time was also allocated to share major improvements identified and implemented through safety inspections, as well as excellent safety management cases from other resident companies.
BPA conducts monthly safety inspections of hinterland complex resident companies jointly with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ port safety inspectors to proactively eliminate and improve risk factors, and strives to prevent industrial accidents through safety management technical support and other measures.
Hong Seong-jun, Head of BPA’s Operations Headquarters, stated, “Through this Safety Council, we aim to reestablish the safety awareness of the hinterland complex resident companies, and to supplement any shortcomings from this year through inspections and training, so that next year we can further improve the safety management level of the resident companies.”
