50 Years of Memories: 'Banana Mat Uyu Container' to Be Nominated as National Cultural Heritage
Binggrae is promoting the registration of the container shape of its processed milk product 'Banana Mat Milk' as a national registered cultural heritage.
A Binggrae official said on the 10th, "We are currently in the stage of collecting materials and preparing," adding, "The timing for the registration application has not been decided."
The national registered cultural heritage is designated by the Cultural Heritage Administration through the Cultural Heritage Committee's review for modern and contemporary cultural heritage over 50 years old that requires preservation and utilization measures.
Banana Mat Milk, launched in 1974, is Binggrae's representative product, and the shape of its container has been maintained for the past 50 years.
The container shape is inspired by the moon jar, and it is known that this form was designed at the time of release to express the image of a premium product.
