Yoon Ji-woong, STEPI Director, "Will Become a Science and Technology Policy Value Chain Hub"
Yoon Ji-woong, the new president of the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI), emphasized on the 22nd that STEPI will become a hub of the domestic and international Science and Technology Policy Value Chain (PVC: Policy Value Chain) as a global think tank.

View original imageAt the inauguration ceremony, President Yoon stated that to realize "a strong science and technology nation that improves the quality of life for the people," STEPI must ▲strengthen policy research in new national strategic technology fields such as artificial intelligence and advanced bio, and ▲respond with agile and effective policy research through communication with R&D sites.
President Yoon holds a Ph.D. in Policy Studies from Carnegie Mellon University, a master's degree in Public Administration from Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University. He has served as president of the Korean Association for Policy Studies, co-representative of the People's Coalition for Realizing Sound Science and Technology Society, policy coordination expert member of the National Science and Technology Advisory Council, and professor in the Department of Public Administration at Kyung Hee University.
