Yoon Hee-sung, President of Export-Import Bank, "Considering provisional seizure to recover North Korea's loan"
The Export-Import Bank of Korea has decided to review measures to recover loans provided to North Korea in consultation with the Ministry of Unification.
On the 21st, Yoon Hee-seong, president of the Export-Import Bank, responded to a question from Assemblyman Cheon Ha-ram of the Reform New Party during the National Assembly's Planning and Finance Committee audit. Assemblyman Cheon stated that the funds provided as loans to North Korea exceed 1.2 trillion won, and that copyright fees amounting to over 3 billion won, which South Korean broadcasters are to send to North Korea, are deposited in court, urging that "legal measures such as provisional seizure should be taken."
