Youngest Archer Nam Suhyeon Scores Perfect Tens from First Match... Advances to Round of 32 [Paris Olympics]
Nam Su-hyun (Suncheon City Hall), one of the key players in South Korea's women's archery team that achieved 10 consecutive team championships, advanced to the round of 32 by winning her first match in the individual event.
On the 31st (local time) at the Les Invalides Archery Field in Paris, France, during the women's individual 64-round of the 2024 Paris Olympics archery competition, Nam Su-hyun defeated Egypt's Jana Ali 7-1 (30-23, 29-25, 28-28, 29-28).
Nam Su-hyun won the first two sets by hitting the 10-point target with all three arrows in the first set.
In the third set, the score was tied 28-28, splitting the points 1-1, but she secured victory in the fourth set by hitting two out of three arrows in the 10-point zone.
