On the final day, he recorded 8 birdies and 2 bogeys. He comfortably outpaced second-place Sam Horsfield (England, 13-under-par 200) by 6 strokes to claim the top spot.
Hatton, who primarily played on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour (formerly European Tour), switched to LIV Golf, sponsored by Saudi Arabian capital, starting this year. After struggling to win, he enjoyed his first victory in his ninth tournament appearance. Additionally, he earned $4 million for the individual championship prize and $750,000, which is 25% of the team championship prize, totaling $4.75 million (approximately 6.6 billion KRW). Hatton previously won the 2020 PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational and has six career wins on the DP World Tour.
