Lotte Museum, Guerrilla Concert on the 20th
Cellist Han Jaemin Solo Performance at Yoon Hyup's 'Nocturncity' Exhibition Hall
Cellist Han Jaemin (18) will hold a guerrilla concert on the 20th at Lotte Museum in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Lotte Cultural Foundation announced that after the docent tour at 4 PM for the ongoing solo exhibition 'Nocturne City' by artist Yoon Hyup, Han Jaemin will perform for about 25 minutes in front of the artwork 'Night in New York'.

On the 18th, the Lotte Cultural Foundation announced that after the 4 PM docent tour of the ongoing solo exhibition 'Nocturne City' by artist Yoon Hyup, Han Jaemin will perform for about 25 minutes in front of the artwork 'Night in New York.'
Han Jaemin, who began playing the cello at the age of five, was selected as the youngest artistic prodigy at the Korea National University of Arts in 2020. At the age of 15 in 2021, he became the youngest winner of the Enescu International Competition in Romania, and the following year, he gained recognition in the music world by winning the Isang Yun International Music Competition.
He is currently studying under Professor Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt at the Kronberg Academy in Germany. This year, he was selected as the 'In-House Artist' at Lotte Concert Hall and will present his first self-planned performance on the 27th.
A representative of the Lotte Cultural Foundation explained, "The combination of Yoon Hyup’s artwork and Han Jaemin’s cello performance is expected to transform the exhibition space into a fantastic environment," adding, "Visitors will be able to enjoy a true collaboration of art and music along with Han Jaemin’s profound cello melodies."

The exhibition 'Nocturne City' features over 230 works by artist Yoon Hyup (42), including early works, new pieces, paintings, sculptures, videos, and drawings all displayed in one place. Inspired greatly by music, his works depict the night city with a unique rhythm expressed through lines and dots, capturing moments of contemplation and romance. The exhibition runs until May 26.
