Jeon Yeo-ok Criticizes as "Retaliatory Driver's Perspective"
Lee Kyung, former senior deputy spokesperson of the Democratic Party of Korea, raised the issue of President Yoon Suk-yeol's responsibility regarding the stabbing attack on party leader Lee Jae-myung during his visit to Busan on the 2nd, sparking criticism.
On the same day, Lee, through social media (SNS), wrote, "Leader Lee Jae-myung was attacked in the neck during his visit to Busan," adding, "The president neglects the people's livelihood and instead talks about cartels and ideology, intensifying national division, which may have led to this incident."
Lee's remarks came shortly after floor leader Hong Ik-pyo sent a notice to party members in the morning, urging, "Please refrain from political interpretations of the incident or comments about the perpetrator."

It is a 'terror against the people' that someone who makes such absurd remarks serves as a spokesperson for a public party and dreams of a badge."
This referred to Lee Kyung's recent sentencing to a fine of 5 million won in the first trial for retaliatory driving and her voluntary resignation from the spokesperson position. Last month, the Democratic Party's Central Election Verification Committee ruled her ineligible as a candidate for the general election.
However, Lee appealed, claiming that "it was not me, but the designated driver who committed the retaliatory driving."
Meanwhile, at around 10:25 a.m. on the same day, Leader Lee was attacked with a weapon during his schedule in Busan. Kim (66), who stabbed Lee with a weapon, was arrested on the spot as a suspect.
