On the 15th (local time), at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club (par 70, 7,017 yards) in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia, during the final third round of the 13th Jeddah event of the 2023 LIV Golf League season (total prize money $25 million), Koepka shot 2 under par to tie with Taylor Gooch (USA) at 14 under par 196. Then, on the second hole of the resumed playoff at the 18th hole (par 5), he made the winning birdie. Koepka earned his first LIV Golf victory after transferring last October at the same venue, and added another win six months later following the third event in April. The winner's prize was $4 million (approximately 5.4 billion KRW).
LIV Golf concluded all individual events with this tournament. Gooch, who won three times this year, secured the season's MVP title with 192 points. He also took home a separate bonus of $18 million (approximately 24.4 billion KRW). Cameron Smith (Australia, 170 points), who finished second in season points, received an $8 million bonus, and Koepka (152 points), who placed third, earned a $4 million bonus. LIV Golf now has only the team event left, scheduled for four days starting on the 22nd in Miami, USA.

Meanwhile, four players?Korean-American Kim Si-hwan, Koepka’s brother Chase Koepka, James Piot (both USA), and Jediah Morgan (Australia)?were included in the "drop zone" and were eliminated from LIV Golf’s 48-player field. To participate in LIV Golf next year, they must attempt re-entry through qualifying. LIV Golf guarantees next year’s participation for players ranked up to 24th in season individual points. Team lineups for the team event will remain unchanged.
