Gyeongnam Bank Provides ATM Services to Senior Customers Facing Difficulties Using Digital Platforms
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is introducing various measures to assist senior customers who have difficulties using digital devices.
On the 10th, BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced that it is providing a ‘Senior Customer-Friendly ATM Service’ to enhance customer convenience.
After a pilot operation, the fully implemented senior customer-friendly ATM service has improved visibility by applying large fonts and color contrast to the existing ATM screen.
This service offers four main transactions most commonly used on existing ATMs: withdrawal, transfer, deposit, and passbook update.
Lee Kyung-gi, leader of the Digital Strategy Department, said, “BNK Gyeongnam Bank is gradually expanding services for senior customers. We will continue to do our best to provide various services without inconvenience to customers using digital financial services.”
Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank waives cash withdrawal fees at automated machines for elderly customers aged 65 and over.

Additionally, the bank offers a ‘Large Font Service’ so that senior customers unfamiliar with digital devices and low-vision customers who have difficulty using mobile banking can use mobile banking easily and quickly with large letters.
