Abstract Painting Featured in 'The Glory'... Now Available for Exhibition
[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] The solo exhibition of artist Kwon Hyunjin, whose work gained attention after appearing in the Netflix drama 'The Glory,' will be held under the title 'Visual Poetry Pixel Puzzle' at Print Bakery Walkerhill Flagship Store (1st floor, Vista Walkerhill Hotel) until March 28.
Recently, Kwon's work attracted attention after appearing in The Glory. The dreamy abstract painting created by the drug addict Lee Sara (Kim Heera), who torments Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) in the drama while intoxicated, is a piece by Kwon.
This exhibition is Kwon's first solo show of the year, featuring new works produced in the second half of last year.

View original imageArtist Kwon Hyunjin is a resident artist at Ghana Atelier and is actively working both domestically and internationally. In 2022, Kwon gained global attention by submitting works to major auctions such as Christie's. Various institutions, including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank and the Korean Embassy in Hong Kong, hold Kwon's works in their collections.
This exhibition showcases the 'Visual Poetry' series created by the artist in various forms. For the first time in this solo exhibition, visitors can see new works with added blank spaces compared to previous methods, and enjoy pieces across diverse media such as flat paintings, three-dimensional objects, and videos.
