Yang Yong-eun's First Runner-up Finish on the PGA Champions Tour

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Taewon] Yang Yong-eun (50) finished as the runner-up with a 13-under-par 200 in the PGA Champions Tour.
On the 12th (Korean time), Yang Yong-eun shot a 5-under-par 66 with 7 birdies and 2 bogeys in the final third round of the Ascension Charity Classic (total prize money $2 million) held at Norwood Hills Country Club (par 71) in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
With a final total of 13-under-par 200, Yang Yong-eun finished second, one stroke behind the winner Padraig Harrington (Ireland, 14-under-par 199).
The PGA Champions Tour is a tournament only open to players aged 50 and over. The runner-up finish is Yang Yong-eun’s best result in this tour.
Yang Yong-eun started playing on the Champions Tour from the Chubb Classic in February. In this tournament, he recorded scores in the 60s in every round for the first time since his Champions Tour debut, finishing as runner-up.
Following Harrington and Yang Yong-eun, Steve Stricker (USA) finished third (12-under-par 201), Bernhard Langer (Germany) was fourth (11-under-par 202), and Ernie Els (South Africa) tied for fifth place (10-under-par 203).
