SK C&C and Clouclus Sign Joint Agreement for 'Cloud-on-Cloud AI Service'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SK C&C announced on the 17th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a joint business agreement on cloud-on-cloud AI and data managed services with Cloukus, the number one cloud management service provider (MSP) for Microsoft Azure in Korea.
Through this agreement, both companies will jointly pursue the discovery of various AI and data-based business innovation projects as well as the construction and operation of services.
Accordingly, they will carry out ▲ joint development of industry-specific SaaS based on cloud-on-cloud AI and data managed services ▲ technological cooperation in new technology fields such as metaverse and fintech ▲ joint development and operation of domestic and international AI and data services.
SK C&C plans to accelerate securing new domestic and international customers as well as enhancing the level of data service innovation for existing customers by providing Cloukus with cloud-on-cloud AI big data analytics platforms and data cloud solutions.
Cloukus operates AI and data businesses not only on MS Azure but also on various cloud environments such as AWS, providing ▲ AI service planning ▲ architecture design ▲ data collection and analysis service implementation. Based on its self-developed MSP platform, it is also strengthening its entry into new Asian markets centered on Malaysia as well as Korea.
Hong Seongwan, CEO of Cloukus, said, “By integrating SK C&C’s cloud-on-cloud AI data analytics platform and cloud data service technologies with our MSP platform, we will be able to quickly respond to the diverse AI and data utilization needs of customers both domestically and internationally.”
