Lotte Duty Free, 'Virtual Fitting Room'... Fashion Try-On in Virtual Space
Lotte Duty Free, the No. 1 duty-free operator in Korea, participated for the first time in the industry at 'CES 2022,' the world's largest IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, on the 5th, showcasing two ultra-realistic metaverse (3D virtual space) contents: 'Virtual Fitting Room' and 'Virtual Concert.'
The Virtual Fitting Room presented by Lotte Duty Free is a content where customers wearing HMD (Head Mounted Display) devices can experience desired products such as bags, accessories, shirts, and pants in a virtual showroom. Lotte Duty Free realistically implemented popular Korean street fashion brand products, including Acm? de la Vie and NERDY. Lotte Duty Free plans to provide a duty-free shopping experience beyond existing online and offline purchases by enabling product payments within the virtual space.
