Naver Introduces 'Influencer Topic'... Expands Content Exposure
Naver is expanding influencer content to the main area.
Naver announced on the 21st that it will introduce Influencer Topics. Influencers will be able to use the curation feature to showcase their content, published on various channels such as Naver Blog, Post, Naver TV, as well as YouTube and Instagram, as new content tailored to specific themes.
Influencer Topics will first be exposed through the Naver main MY Subscription recommendation area. The exposure area will be gradually expanded in connection with themed boards in the future. The company explained that the creation of new exposure areas will also have a positive impact on increasing creators' revenue.
Starting from the end of February, Naver plans to apply personalized recommendations in MY Subscription recommendations through 'AiRS,' an artificial intelligence (AI)-based content recommendation technology. This will increase the likelihood of connecting influencers with expertise and users who have similar tastes in the relevant fields. From the 27th, 'AdPost ads' will be applied to create a virtuous cycle effect related to influencer compensation.
