Lee Hoseung, Director of the Blue House Policy Office, Visits Korean-Style Smart Farm Greenhouse in UAE
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Lee Ho-seung, Chief of Policy Office of the Presidential Secretariat, who is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with President Moon Jae-in, visited the first Korean-style smart farm greenhouse established in the Middle East on the 17th (local time).
Korea and the UAE promoted the establishment of a Korean-style smart farm greenhouse to cooperate in agricultural technology and revitalize smart agriculture, following President Moon Jae-in's visit to the UAE in 2018, and completed the construction of the Korean-style smart farm greenhouse in October last year.
The UAE strictly controls water usage due to the decrease of groundwater in the Middle East region, resulting in high demand for Korean smart farm technology.
