Gwangju Seo-gu, Website Renovation... Enhanced Information Provision Functions
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 17th that it has newly revamped its official website.
The revamped official website prioritized a user-centered design, enhanced information provision functions, and improved internet speed, reflecting the resident survey conducted last year.
Additionally, by adopting responsive web technology, the site was built to be freely accessible on various devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs according to the user environment.
The website system was also reorganized to improve employee efficiency and allow managers to easily and conveniently modify information, enabling fast and accurate information delivery to residents at any time.
A total of 23 websites, including the Seo-gu official website, health center, integrated reservation, open mayor’s office, job center, goods sharing center, district administration, culture and tourism, Eoksae Festival, and Bitgoeul Gugak Transmission Center, were newly launched.
All of these were planned to enhance ease of information access, communicate with residents, and become websites that residents continuously visit and enjoy.
In particular, with the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of the non-face-to-face era, an environment was created on all websites for users to apply online, and it is expected that in the future, culture, events, performances, education, and venue reservations promoted within the district will be easier and more convenient to apply for.
A Seo-gu official said, “We hope that this website revamp will become a resident-centered communication website, which is the biggest purpose and goal,” adding, “We hope it will be used as a space where people can easily get what they want with just a few clicks and sometimes gain joy and opportunities through local news.”
