Naver and Kakao Provide Nationwide Diesel Exhaust Fluid Stock Status at Gas Stations on Map Apps
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver and Kakao announced on the 29th that users can check the availability and stock status of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) at each gas station through their respective map apps.
First, Naver allows users to check the stock status of DEF at gas stations nationwide via mobile search and the Naver Map app.
Starting today, searching with keywords such as "DEF gas station" or "DEF priority distribution gas station" will display whether DEF is sold at each gas station and the stock status in liters.
The stock status is updated every two hours, and detailed place pages of gas stations also provide DEF sales price information. In the Naver Map app, users can easily check the information by pressing the "DEF Gas Station" button at the top.
Kakao also provides DEF priority distribution gas station stock status and price information on KakaoMap. Users can press the "DEF" icon in the KakaoMap search bar.

The search list shows DEF stock status and price per liter, and by pressing the "DEF Available" button located at the top right of the search list, users can conveniently filter and find the desired information. The remaining DEF stock is classified as "Plenty," "Normal," "Low," or "Sold Out" and displayed in different colors.
