Kakao Introduces Sponsorship Feature on Audio Platform 'Eum'
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kakao's social audio platform 'Eum(mm)' is introducing a 'Cheer' feature that allows users to support creators.
On the 19th, Kakao announced, "We have newly introduced this feature to provide creators active on the Eum platform with opportunities for continuous growth."
Users can easily send support funds through KakaoPay transfers. By clicking the 'Cheering Stick' icon on the creator's profile screen and selecting 'Cheer by Transfer,' users can send support. Transfers can also be made within chat rooms, and all support funds sent through the Cheer feature are delivered to creators in real time.
The 'Cheer' feature is initially applied to 140 recommended creators currently active on Eum. The scope of application will be expanded in the future. The feature will be enhanced and expanded to allow support through KakaoTalk Gift, cryptocurrency Klay, and more.
