On the afternoon of the 15th, Jin posted on his social media, "Have you ever actually worked? You became a lawmaker by selling the movement," he wrote.
He criticized, "As teacher Hong Se-hwa said, you should have earned money through hard work," adding, "If someone gives advice with affection, you should listen carefully. Your promotion is poor, and your response is weak. I told you to change even now, but you don't seem to understand."
Earlier, Jin had posted on his Facebook regarding the fall accident of Lee's wife, Kim Hye-kyung, saying, "The average worker in Korea does not take a day off just because their wife had a few stitches. They would be fired immediately," and added, "Such overreactions only lead to unnecessary speculation like 'Did something happen that you have to pray all day?'"
He further stated, "If, after a tiring schedule, reporters asked 'You look tired today,' and he had replied, 'Last night my wife fainted, so I had to stay by her side all night,' it would have received a better response."

In response, Jeon Yong-gi, spokesperson for the Democratic Party's election campaign committee, said in a written briefing, "There is no reason to criticize the candidate for taking care of his wife," and added, "In urgent situations, it is normal workplace culture and a proper social norm to use annual leave and seek understanding."
He continued, "Which country is Jin's claim from that someone would be fired for taking a day off because a family member had an accident?" and criticized, "I wonder if you have ever properly experienced working life. The more you speak, the more shameful you become."
