CEO Park Sang-gyu to Lead as Sole Representative
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Choi Sin-won, chairman of SK Networks, who is on trial for breach of trust and embezzlement charges, has resigned from all positions within the company.
SK Networks announced on the 1st that as of the 29th, Chairman Choi resigned from all positions, including his role as CEO. Accordingly, SK Networks has changed from a dual CEO system with Choi Sin-won and Park Sang-gyu to a sole CEO system under Park Sang-gyu.
Earlier, Chairman Choi was detained in February on charges of breach of trust and embezzlement, and since September, he has been released after the detention period expired and is currently on trial.

SK Networks stated, "Chairman Choi resigned from all positions related to the company on the 29th of his own will," adding, "SK Networks will continue to make its best efforts for stable management and sustainable future growth centered on the board of directors and the president as it is now."
